Are you a sex-pert?
We all know men and women are different when it comes to sex. But, just how different are we? Take this SEXPERT quiz* to get your SEX IQ and find out!

ANSWERS:

  1. Women release the bonding hormone, oxytocin, with any physical touch. And especially with sex and orgasm (Brizendine, 2006).
  2. Men are more visual than women. That’s why they’re aroused more easily.
  3. Women are aroused more slowly and need non-sexual touch before any sexual body parts are touched (Grey, 1997).
  4. Worry, fatigue and stress can interfere with a woman’s desire for sex (Brizendine, 2006).
  5. Women need to feel comfortable and warm before they’re ready to have sex (Brizendine, 2006).
  6. Women need to feel close and connected before sex. And they may want to bond by talking before, during, and after sex.
  7. For women, foreplay is anything that’s happened in the last 24 hours, so men shouldn’t pick a fight the day before they want to have sex! (Brizendine, 2006)
  8. For men, foreplay is what happens right before sex (Brizendine, 2006).
  9. Men have 2 1/2 times more brain space and 3 times more sex drive than women (Brizendine, 2006).
  10. Men’s testosterone levels are highest in the morning.
  11. Women’s desire for sex is highest when they are ovulating (day 14 of their cycle). That’s also when women are most fertile.
  12. Men are like blow torches. When they are turned on, they are all the way ready for sex. And once it’s over, they’re all the way off (Grey,1997).
  13. Women are like ovens. It takes more for a woman to be ready for sex. She needs lots of preheating first (Grey 1997).
  14. Sex is as important to men as talking is to women. A loss of sex feels like a loss of love for men (Brizendine, 2006).
  15. A woman’s pleasure is the best predictor of a good sex life. Because when sex is good for her, there will be more sex!
