First Date Do’s and Don’ts with LIVE Demonstrations! Saturdays, Part 1 – August 20, Part 2 – September 10

Do you wonder what you’re supposed to do or say on a date?

Or do you wonder how to even find someone to date?

I hope you’ll join us for a super fun event about First Date Do’s & Don’ts PLUS How to Get a Date!

And best of all – we’re gonna do some LIVE Demonstrations!!!

This will be so much fun! :))

Here’s some of what we’ll be talking about:

How to Get a Date

* Women – smile and make eye-contact
* Men – Smile at her. Then wait to see if she smiles back.
* Is there give and take when you chat?
* If you’re connecting it’s natural to ask if she’d like to get together some time
* Pay attention to how you feel about yourself while chatting

How to Keep it Light on Your First Date

You want the first date to be low-key, upbeat, and not too long. Coffee is a great first date. You can meet them there. You get to see them in the daylight. You can visit and talk about your interests, hobbies, what you both like to do for fun. Andy Whaling, LMFT said the only goal of a first date is, “Do I want a second date?”

What NOT to Talk About on Your First Date

No talking about sex, the ex, marriage, etc. Nothing too intense. And no negative topics or complaints. And beware of trick questions like “Why’s someone like you still single?” or “How’s the online dating site working out for you?” There’s no good answer to these questions.

How to Watch for Red Flags

Keep your eyes open and trust your gut! If anything feels “off” or weird, PAY ATTENTION! Remember, this is them on their best behavior. (If they’re nervous, that’s different. But, if they’re inappropriate, rude or abusive in any way, now is the time to cut and run!)

Who Pays for Your Dates?

We’re pretty traditional when it comes to dating. So the general rule is the man usually pays in the beginning. But, men always appreciate “the reach” and a woman who is a gracious guest. And if you start dating regularly, she can begin to pitch in a bit.

Do You Want a Second Date?

If your first date went well and you’re feeling good about your time together then it’s time for a second date!

I’ll also offer a group guided imagery/hypnosis to help you start feeling good about yourself and dating! ♥
