My Christmas Wish for You – Let Love Find You <3

My Christmas Wish for You - Let Love Find YouChristmas is almost here. And then it’ll be another new year. And you may be wondering, When will I ever find someone to love me?

There’s lots of things you can do and places you can go to meet men. But, sometimes it’s as simple as allowing love to find you. In other words — not blocking love from coming to you.

I know that sounds crazy. I know you want to find someone more than anything. I know you hate being single, especially during the holidays.

But, what if you didn’t have to do anything to find love?

What if you just had to let down the wall?
What if you just need to open yourself up?
What if the man who could really love you and treat you right is waiting for you — and all you have to do is let him in?

I know what you’re saying.

Part of you is saying, “Hell, Ya!”

But, the other part of you, the oh-my-god-what-if-I-get hurt part of you is saying “HOLD ON.” The what-if-he-doesn’t-like-me-once-he-gets-to-know-me part of you is saying, “Let’s not get carried away here!” The I-don’t-feel-good-enough-about-myself part of you is saying, “What’s the rush?”

And that’s what may be keeping you from finding love.

So tell that scared part of you…

Yes, it’s important to heal the hurts that have drawn you to the wrong guys in the past. And, yes, it’s important to go slow so you can spot red flags and screen out the players.

But, if you want to find a good guy, there comes a time when you have to take a deep breath and take a risk. Not a big jumping-off-a-cliff kind of risk. Just a stepping-off-a-curb baby step kind of risk.

You put yourself out there and you allow someone to get close to you.

When you meet someone nice and good and fun, you let him in.
Bit by bit, you let down the wall.
You open yourself up.
And you let him love you — the way you deserve to be loved.

That’s my Christmas wish for you – that you let love find you. Because it really is out there. Your guy is waiting for you. It’s okay to let him in.

And I do wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a New Year full of love!  <3
